乃至: Extending to an Extreme in Chinese
乃至
乃至 extends an existing range to a more remote, inclusive, or extreme endpoint, roughly ‘and even’ or ‘up to and including.’ It precedes the final escalated item or clause. The scale must be coherent, and the fixed connector cannot be split, inflected, or placed after the endpoint.
