Using ChineseGrammar

The service

ChineseGrammar.app provides grammar lessons and an AI grammar checker for people learning Chinese. The checker's feedback is generated automatically and can be wrong. Use it as a learning aid, not as an authority for exams, publications, or official documents. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro is billed monthly ($6.99) or yearly ($49) in USD. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
• When paid subscriptions open, payments will be processed by Creem as merchant of record.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Once subscriptions open, you will be able to cancel from “Manage billing” on the Pro page; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Essay checks (over 200 Chinese characters) are limited to 150 per calendar month, including on yearly plans.

Fair use

Pro is for one person's own learning, with a fair-use cap of 50 total checks a day, including essays. Essays over 200 Chinese characters also count towards the 150-check monthly allowance. Limits reset at midnight UTC daily and on the first of each calendar month. We may suspend accounts that share access, resell results, or send automated or bulk requests.

Refunds

If Pro isn't right for you, email kevinjiang0712@gmail.com within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. This voluntary refund policy does not cover renewal payments; you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Nothing in these terms limits refund or cancellation rights required by applicable law.

Once a full refund is confirmed, we cancel the subscription associated with that payment and end its Pro access. Pending, failed, and partial refunds do not automatically cancel a subscription.

Acceptable use

Use the checker to learn Chinese and review text you have the right to submit. Generating, rewriting, improving, or requesting adult, sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content is prohibited. Illegal, exploitative, hateful, harassing, or harmful content and attempts to bypass safeguards are also prohibited. Read the Acceptable Use Policy for the full rules, reporting options, and enforcement terms.

Your content

You keep the rights to the text you submit. We process it to provide feedback as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit personal or sensitive information.
