Read the structure
每 forms a noun phrase meaning every or each and normally appears before a classifier and noun. When the quantity is one, 一 is usually omitted but the classifier remains. 都 commonly appears before the predicate to show that the statement applies to every member introduced by 每. Keep the model 每 + Number + Measure word + Noun + 都 + Predicate visible while you compare each sentence.
我每天都学习中文。
I study Chinese every day.
Choose the right context
Describe a repeated schedule: 每个星期天都去。 Apply a statement to each person or thing. Use 每次, 每天, or 每年 in recurring time expressions.
每个学生都有一本书。
Every student has a book.
Respect the boundary
Do not omit the classifier before an ordinary count noun. Do not put 每 after the noun it determines. Do not place 都 between 每 and its noun phrase.
每学生都有书。
(Every student all has a book.)
Repair the pattern
The classifier is missing before a count noun: An ordinary count noun such as 学生 needs a classifier after 每: 每个学生. 都 splits the determiner from its noun: Keep 每个学生 as one noun phrase; 都 belongs before the predicate 来了.
每个学生都有书。
Use the repaired structure without changing the intended meaning.

08 / QUESTIONS
每: Every and Each Questions
Is 一 required after 每?
Usually not when the number is one: 每个学生 is standard. The classifier remains.
Is 都 always required with 每?
It is very common when a predicate applies to all members, though context can sometimes make it unnecessary.
