即便…也…: Conceding an Extreme Condition in Chinese
即便……也……
即便…也… presents an extreme or hypothetical condition while asserting that the result remains unchanged. 即便 begins the conceded condition; 也 belongs in the result clause before its predicate. The two markers cannot be stacked in one clause, reversed, or followed by a missing condition or result.

Read the structure
即便…也… presents an extreme or hypothetical condition while asserting that the result remains unchanged. 即便 begins the conceded condition; 也 belongs in the result clause before its predicate. The two markers cannot be stacked in one clause, reversed, or followed by a missing condition or result. Keep the model 即便 + Conceded condition，Subject + 也 + Unchanged result visible while you compare each sentence.
即便遇到困难，我们也不会放弃。

Choose the right context
Concede a difficult hypothetical condition. Emphasize that a decision remains unchanged. Strengthen an argument by granting the opposing case.
即便没有人支持，他也要继续研究。
Even without support, he will continue the research.
Respect the boundary
Do not place 即便 after its condition. Do not attach an aspect particle to 即便. Do not use it for a simple factual sequence.
遇到困难即便，我们也不会放弃。
(Encounter difficulties even if, we will not give up.)
Repair the pattern
即便 follows the condition it must introduce: 即便 must precede and introduce the conceded condition. An aspect particle is attached to the concession marker: 即便 is a conjunction and cannot take aspect 了.
即便遇到困难，我们也不会放弃。
