The material between 从 and 来看 may name evidence, an aspect, an experience, or a perspective, and the following clause states what can be judged from it. Unlike 在…看来, the frame typically highlights the basis of judgment rather than whose personal opinion it is. Choose the right context
Draw a conclusion from visible evidence or results. Limit an assessment to a stated angle or aspect. Introduce experience as the basis for a judgment.
从他的考试成绩来看，他平时没有认真学习。
Judging from his exam results, he did not study seriously.
Respect the boundary
Do not reverse 从 and 来看 around the basis phrase. Do not insert the following subject inside the frame. Do not present a conclusion as certain when the evidence only supports an inference.

Repair the pattern
The two frame markers are reversed: 从 introduces the basis and 来看 closes the frame before the assessment begins. The assessment subject splits the frame: The full evidence phrase stays between 从 and 来看; the assessed subject 他 follows the frame.
