Repeated Predicate X + 就 + X + 吧
Read the structure
X就X吧 repeats the same predicate around 就 and closes with 吧 to accept a less-than-ideal option, fact, or degree. The speaker may sound resigned, accommodating, or reassuring rather than enthusiastic. A following clause often gives a compensating reason. The pattern evaluates acceptance; it does not merely sequence two events. Keep the model Repeated Predicate X + 就 + X + 吧 visible while you compare each sentence.

If we must wait, then let us wait; there is no other way.
Choose the right context
Accept a delay, shortage, or other imperfect condition. Concede an option because no better alternative is available. Reassure someone by downplaying an undesirable event.
少点儿就少点儿吧,总比没有强。
A little less is acceptable; it is better than none.
Respect the boundary
Do not use different predicates in the two X slots. Do not place 就 before the first copy. Do not treat every repeated predicate as reluctant acceptance.

(Wait then late a little ba.)
Repair the pattern
The repeated predicates do not match: The construction copies the same predicate or degree expression in both X positions. 就 precedes both copies: The first X precedes 就, the second X follows it, and 吧 closes the whole frame.

Use the repaired structure without changing the intended meaning.
