无所谓X不X: Indifference to an Outcome in Chinese
无所谓X不X
无所谓X不X expresses that whether X happens or not makes no difference to the speaker or topic. The affirmative-negative pair remains together after 无所谓. It differs from claiming that X is impossible; the construction marks indifference, and neither half of the pair nor the predicate may be omitted.

Read the structure
无所谓X不X expresses that whether X happens or not makes no difference to the speaker or topic. The affirmative-negative pair remains together after 无所谓. It differs from claiming that X is impossible; the construction marks indifference, and neither half of the pair nor the predicate may be omitted. Keep the model Subject + 无所谓 + Verb / Adjective + 不 + Verb / Adjective visible while you compare each sentence.
我无所谓去不去,大家决定就好。
I do not mind whether I go; everyone else can decide.
Choose the right context
State indifference between an outcome and its negation. Downplay whether an action occurs. Use with a repeated verb or adjective in an affirmative-negative pair.
他无所谓价格高不高,只看质量。
He does not care whether the price is high; he only considers quality.
Respect the boundary
Do not omit the repeated predicate. Do not move 不 outside the X不X pair. Do not use it to mean that X cannot happen.
我无所谓去不,大家决定。
(I do not mind go not, everyone decides.)
Repair the pattern
The repeated predicate is missing: The alternative must form a complete affirmative-negative pair 去不去. 不 is moved before the pair: The negator belongs between the repeated predicates inside 去不去.
我无所谓去不去,大家决定。
Use the repaired structure without changing the intended meaning.
